From Here To The End
Two squads of American GI's who feud over everything, from
enemy kills, medals received, pow's taken and ground liberated decided to put it
to the test. Both squad leaders (Carl and Ocean) meet and determine that whoever
liberates the chosen town will advance the rest of the war with the looser as
rear help. What they have done was put themselves into much more than a race.
More than 60 miles behind enemy lines they not only fight for the town but to
keep the supply line in the rear open that connects with Allied lines.
Casualties mount as does the tension, both squads determine to keep going,
realizing that there is much more to there goal. Perhaps the liberation of
oppressed people.
Crusade Of a Forest
Based on True Events During the winter of 1944 in Europe during WWII. Known as
the "meat grinder" officially called the Battle Of The Hurtgen Forest where more
than 24,000 Americans were killed or wounded. (Along with 9,000 more to illness,
fatigue and friendly fire) Squad after squad is sent through the forest along
the Belgian/German border. Few of the men from the squads come back alive, some
are captured most are killed. Some of the men really call it babysitting
patrols, "Watch on the Rhine" is the most common name used. The squad of men
lead by Sgt. Steve Russel are cold, tired, homesick, hungry and stressed from
months of combat. Some had been home at the beginning of the year and then
became battle harden veterans by the end of it. Not only does the forest house
hidden German machine gun nest, land mines, trip wires for booby traps, and
little escape from the weather makes life all the more miserable. Even worse
when enemy artillery rained in "in coming mail" there was practically no place
for cover. Can Sgt. Russel get his men out alive, please his seniors and keep
his sanity all at the same time saving himself, "Empires are forged for war" he
says and most agreed that he was right. The Battle Of The Bulge began shortly
after leaving what took place in the forest largely ignored and forgotten.
Prime Opportunity
NYPD detectives Robert "Bobby" Garfield and Michael "Micky" Esmano are
convinced that the Italian and Russian mob are about to go to war not just with
each other but there other enemies in general. Both hate the NYPD and are
already on thin ice with the FBI. More is at stake though, Robert and Michael
both believe there are different motives behind the war other than hate. Control
of drugs, guns, prostitution and the biggest prize political allies with power.
Robert and Michael are determined to stop the war from spreading to other cities
and allowing crime to corrupt and scare the people of New York.
Counterattack
Based on the true events. Set after the D-Day landing in the summer of 1944. The
29th Division and 1st Division moved inland from the coast and encountered as
much hell as they did on June 6th. Hedge grow country! It is occupied by well
armed, trained and battle harden soldiers of the German 352nd Infantry Division.
To make matters only worse the Allies had little to no training to conduct
warfare in this sort of country were vines, grass and trees grew together so
thick that some heavy trucks, armor or even tanks could not penetrate it. The
weather was hot, the terrain gave little cover, slit trenches were dug while
artillery and rifle fire was aimed at you as well as exceptionally well
concealed snipers and machine gun nest. But Captain Conrad knew this would
happen, intelligence and endless training prepared him and his men for what this
would be like. Almost! Along with Captain Conrad is Sgt David and nothing but
green privates. Replacements from across the channel that were in no way
involved with D-Day. Who had yet to be experienced in the game of cat and mouse,
but would within the day of arrival experience it and a lot more. On the German
side there is no retreat only means of survival and that is something of a slim
hope. The story of what took place between the Germans and Americans in France
during WWII is long, heart wrenching, complicated, brutal and dangerously funny
in some instances. Summaries could go on and on, you must experience the story
to find out. More than 40,000 Americans were killed and wounded in those three
months.
